Senior Analyst

A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Analyst/Information Security Governance/Risk & Compliance to their team in Commerce, CA. Responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary analyst responsible for performing Information Security risk assessments, IT-related audit and compliance questionnaires, and third-party risk assessments; As appropriate, maintains and regularly updates the Information Security risk register, and facilitates quarterly reviews with IT, Compliance, and Privacy leadership
• Ensures all areas of the Information System and Technology environment adhere to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CPRA/CCPA, HRSA, etc) and established standards of good practice or defined information security frameworks (NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST 800-30, NIST 800-53, PCI Data Security Standard, etc.); As appropriate, collects and maintains evidence of compliance with our Information Security Policies and regulatory requirements
• Periodically reviews and updates the client's Information Security Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, and other Information Security documents
• Serves as the primary lead for the client's Vulnerability Management and IT Disaster Recovery programs, maintaining and updating system and application inventories along with associated RPOs and RTOs
• Proactively monitors and shares information related to changes in legal, regulatory, and industry requirements and control frameworks, such as HIPAA Security Rule, PCI Data Security Standards, State and Federal Privacy Laws, NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST 800-30, NIST 800-53, etc.; As appropriate, proactively reviews information security news sources for risk and threat trends as well as third-party software updates for systems potentially impacting the client

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems Management, or a related field is required
• 5+ years of experience in IT audit or IT risk management is required
• Experience in leading security assessments, IT vendor risk assessments, and InfoSec control management
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, Privacy, and PCI data requirements, and other state/federal regulatory requirements of sensitive information
• Experience with application security, SaaS, and/or cloud security is a plus
