Senior Analyst, Cyber Security

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Sr.Cyber Security Analyst to support an enterprise Cyber Threat Intelligence and Security Operations team.

This role is ideal for an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, threat hunting, and security risk analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and execute penetration tests and vulnerability assessments across applications, systems, and infrastructure
• Use tools including Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, and Linux-based security tools to identify and validate vulnerabilities
• Simulate real-world attacks and assess the business risk and potential impact of security weaknesses
• Perform advanced threat hunting and investigate escalated security events
• Analyze findings and provide practical remediation recommendations
• Research emerging threats and incorporate current attack techniques into security assessments
• Support implementation and tuning of security assessment and monitoring tools
• Document and present findings to technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other security analysts

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of cybersecurity or related technical experience
• Strong hands-on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment experience
• Experience with Linux, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nessus
• Strong understanding of network and system security, attack techniques, and vulnerability management
• Experience analyzing security risks and translating technical findings into business impact
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR equivalent experience
