Position Summary
Serving as ACP's in-house economist, this role applies econometric tools to assess how policies, regulations, and market developments affect the clean energy sector and broader economy. The Senior Analyst plays a key role in identifying, interpreting, and tracking economic data that supports ACP's policy, advocacy, and research priorities.
This position contributes economic insight across several areas of ACP's work, including workforce development, power sector analysis, supply chain considerations, and trade-related issues, using technical knowledge to help inform assumptions, research outputs, and policy positioning. Reporting to the Senior Director, Research & Analysis, the Senior Analyst works closely with internal teams and member companies to develop economic analysis, written materials, and technical assessments that support ACP's broader policy and market objectives. Through strong collaboration and analytical expertise, this role helps ensure ACP''s positions and research products are grounded in sound economic analysis and actionable insights.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal subject matter experts across ACP and contribute to research and analysis that helps shape understanding of the economic significance of the clean power industry. The Senior Analyst must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, exercising sound judgment, and translating complex technical information into clear, well-reasoned conclusions for internal and external audiences.

We are a fast-paced, high-energy organization with a very ambitious agenda and a staff that is highly motivated. This position may experience high-level work demands and independent decision-making under tight timelines. Occasional travel outside of the Washington, DC area for meetings or events may be required. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. ACP will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
We reasonably believe that the base salary range for this position is $75,000 - 95,000 annually. At ACP, a wide range of factors are considered when making compensation decisions including and not limited to skill set, experience, training, education, knowledge, and other business and organizational needs.
