- In Banner, create student records utilizing admissions software. Analyze Banner reports data to ensure completion of student record, application, and admissions requirements for admitted nursing student in all programs. Ensure completion of all student records with accuracy and processed across all systems in a timely manner. Student records must be available to institutional personnel including but not limited to, the Registrar, Student Business Services, and Financial Aid Review. Analyze complete admissions data submitted by the Analyst II for accuracy of all the Hunt School of Nursing programs. Demonstrate knowledge of admissions software, admission criteria, policies, and processes while observing established deadlines. Demonstrate ability to accurately analyze data in a timely manner.
- Assist in the evaluation of transfer transcript coursework for TTUHSC El Paso equivalences to determine academic status and enter transfer credit into recruitment systems. Research and resolve transfer credit evaluation issues and communicate with students regarding transfer issues and program advisement. Review and record course prerequisites and degree equivalents.
- Collect demographic and other student data as assigned on all incoming nursing students with accuracy and timely submission to the corresponding TTUHSC EP departments. Collaborate with IT and TTUS to develop, test, and implement OSA systems and applications. Ensure functionality and ongoing maintenance of these systems. Demonstrate effective collaboration with internal departments to successfully implement and maintain applications.
- Assist IT in the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance for new and existing Office of Student Affairs software platforms (ex: Slate, Banner, Touchnet, Cognos, etc.) training for OSA and SON end users based on SON and OSA needs. Ensure applications resources training goals and objectives are met as defined by annual unit plan. Report direct specialized data as requested to the HSON Dean, SON staff, TTUHSC EP departments. Attend required trainings.
- Review, reconcile and analyze OSA financial transactions, records and processes. Utilize new and existing platforms such as Banner, Touchnet, Techbuy, Banner, Slate Cognos to ensure the accuracy of transactions and records. Within established deadlines, track assigned OSA financial transactions. Ensure payments are allocated appropriately. Provide cost analysis as needed for future fiscal budget. Attend required trainings.
- Review and analyze progressing (existing) student data as assigned throughout various SON systems. Demonstrate ability to successfully review and analyze data in a timely manner while following institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Analyst II and OSA leadership to develop data from Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) continuous improvement processes. Demonstrate ability to collaborate, analyze data and provide input towards yearly goals in a timely manner. Render recommendations to SON and OSA based on ongoing PDCA results and as assigned.
