Your New Role...
The Senior Analyst, Financial Contract Solutions is the technical owner of several applications supported by the Talent and Deal Management team. The Sr. Analyst will assist the overall team, as well as key stakeholders across various tasks related to the applications and business processes, including improving business processes and aligning key metrics for the applications and integrations that are part of the Enterprise Systems and Services, Talent & Deal Management Solutions team.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Operations and Project Management
Work directly with personnel from multiple business units including Rights, Business Affairs and Production finance teams to fully understand, gather and document business requirements
As part of the ongoing effort to streamline and standardize WBD processes, represent the technology team in studio-wide process evaluation and redesign sessions
Provide business analysis support for system migrations, consolidations and ongoing enhancements
Create Functional Specifications and Design documents
Communicate complex finance and rights management concepts to offshore technical team
Review proposed technical designs for feasibility and assurance that they meet end-user requirements
Perform Functional Acceptance and System Integration testing
Coordinate User Acceptance testing/ obtain user sign-off on fixes/enhancements
Assist in establishing and coordinating the project plan for migration of the project into production
Assist with developing and defining new and improved workflow and initiatives
Provide training materials and end-user training for new processes
Assist management with special assignments, such as evaluating vendors, gathering/evaluating consultant proposals, or other responsibilities as requested
Assist with implementing innovative IT solutions to drive business transformation
Provide expert technical and functional advice and assistance for multiple projects
Assist management with the selection of technology solutions that are aligned with enterprise-wide architecture/technology
Participate in process improvement/re-engineering efforts and work with Advisory Developers/Architects to ensure that application/technology solutions align with enterprise-wide direction
Build diagrams representing as-is (current state) architecture and target architecture (future state)
Strategy
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and dependencies to better align business processes
Assist in developing and executing a methodology to evaluate, prioritize and monitor the success of the business processes
Assist with creating comprehensive and meaningful presentations for business users
Create dashboards for use in ongoing business planning and goal measurement through KPIs
Evaluate technology strategy, organization, and business applications
Help formulate the overall solution strategies and roadmaps
Analytics
Develop comprehensive performance analysis of business processes and review ways of improvement
Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major projects and initiatives
Map business capabilities based on EA best practices and discover applications related to each business capability
When moving from old systems to new ones, create roadmaps with all dependencies
Accurately and clearly articulate business requirements and provide relevant, logical options for solving them
Assist with creating the lifecycle roadmaps of IT landscapes: Assess applications by business criticality and functional & technical fit
Qualifications & Experiences...
5+ years of prior experience in a related field (media, entertainment, business development)
At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the ERP Finance and Rights Management
A bachelor’s or master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electronics, Management, or a related technical field
Knowledge of best practices for driving business transformation is preferable
Experience developing data models using Visio, Lucid Charts and/or Miro
Working knowledge of one or more financial systems (ERP- SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, PeopleSoft Financials, and Workday Financials), Ariba platforms
Experience working with SaaS, PaaS, Custom and 3rd Party applications
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Superb relationship building skills
Work collaboratively w/small teams
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently
Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) to prepare all documents, presentations, graphs, briefings, and worksheets
Not Required but preferred experience:
Experience working in a global company
Experience working with distributed team in multiple geographical locations
Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
Experience with SAP ECC/CRM, Salesforce, Workday, Informatica, ServiceNow, Beeline
