Senior Analyst, Financial Operations

Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid (3 weeks onsite per month)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Financial Operations to support payments acceptance and day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial operations, payment processing, UAT/validation, data analysis, and financial reporting.

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and resolving payment and processing issues while ensuring that card and payment processing functions are performed in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements.

This role will also support high-priority initiatives by delivering analytical insights, executing project tasks, and contributing to enhancements in payment systems, operational controls, and financial processes.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Financial Operations and Payments Operations.

• Hands-on experience with payment processing, card payments, payment acceptance, and transaction processing.

• Experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and testing activities for large-scale programs or system implementations.

• Strong experience in data analysis and reporting related to accounting, payments, financial operations, and/or financial services.

• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex payment and processing issues.

• Experience supporting operational controls, process improvements, and payment system enhancements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, technology teams, and operational teams.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial and payments operations.

• Research, analyze, and resolve payment processing and financial operational issues.

• Support card and payment acceptance operations in accordance with established standards and regulatory requirements.

• Perform detailed analysis of payment transactions, processing exceptions, and operational issues.

• Participate in UAT, system validation, and testing activities for large-scale programs and initiatives.

• Develop and maintain reports and analytical insights related to accounting, payments, financial operations, and financial services.

• Support high-priority projects and initiatives by executing assigned project tasks and deliverables.

• Identify opportunities to improve payment systems, operational processes, controls, and procedures.

• Collaborate with internal business, technology, finance, and operations teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

• Support data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and analysis activities.

• Ensure financial and payment processing activities comply with established policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
