About the Department

The Performance & Attribution team acts as the SME for Board Reporting, Performance, Attributions, ex-post Risk Statistics and relevant Holdings-based information. The team is primarily responsible for maintaining systems, data flows, delivery of customized automated and manual reports, and liaising with teams across global time zones, including Portfolio/Product Managers, Client Services, RFP, DDQ, Sales/Marketing, Commentary, Investment Risk, and institutional onboarding teams. The Performance & Attribution Team offers exposure to global investment strategies, performance measurement, attribution analysis, and client reporting across diverse asset classes. This role provides opportunities to build deep analytical expertise, collaborate with international stakeholders, and drive innovation through automation and process improvements.

How You Will Add Value

Core Responsibilities

• You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in performance and attribution analytics.
• You will review portfolio performance, attribution and risk analytics.
• You will analyze underlying data accuracy and quality.
• You will perform data validation, exception processing and security modeling.
• You will improve data coverage and reporting accuracy.
• You will maintain, monitor, run and review reports and ad hoc requests.
• You will adhere to Service Level Agreement dates.
• You will validate Fund Board Reports.
• You will review automated validation controls and resolve issues.
• You will review accounts for proper composite inclusion per Global Investment Performance Standard and Franklin Templeton policies.

Strategic Responsibilities

• You will identify and resolve complex data issues with the manager.
• You will support performance, attribution, risk and characteristics reporting.
• You will perform a Business Analyst role across teams.
• You will understand requirements and implement process changes.
• You will coordinate report delivery.
• You will maintain training documents, reference files, activity matrices and systems.
• You will lead project activities, system issues and resolutions.

Team & Collaboration

• You will provide system support for newly incepted institutional accounts.
• You will proofread onboarding documents and coordinate requirements.
• You will lead team members.
• You will participate in cross functional team trainings supporting functional, process and technical aspects.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance/Business.
• Professional certifications CIPM, CFA, FRM preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in performance, attribution and risk reporting.
• Experience within Mutual Funds/Asset Management industry.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Bloomberg PORT, FactSet, Morningstar, Lipper and MSCI BarraOne.
• Ability to perform financial and mathematical analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Alteryx and Python.
• Advanced knowledge of financial securities, markets and analytics.
• Knowledge of mutual funds, separate accounts, composites and benchmarks.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Work Schedule & Location

7:30 am - 4:30 pm EST, onsite in Ft. Lauderdale, FL office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $95,000.00 - $112,000.00, depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
