    Job Description

    General Summary

This role is an early-career technical position supporting software (Model N) used across pricing, contracting, market access, government spend transparency reporting, gross-to-net, revenue management, rebates, and chargeback processing. The individual will be a hands-on technical resource responsible for learning the functional and technical domain, executing software configuration changes, supporting platform enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and helping ensure systems operate reliably and in compliance with software development lifecycle and change management standards. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree, 2–4 years of experience in software or a related technical discipline, strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, and working knowledge of how AI and agentic AI can improve software delivery, testing, documentation, and operational support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a technical resource for Market Access and revenue management systems, including sell-side contracting software, Model N, global pricing management, government spend transparency reporting, gross-to-net, rebates, and chargeback processing platforms.

    • Execute hands-on software configuration changes, enhancement requests, defect fixes, data updates, testing support, and release activities across assigned platforms.

    • Rapidly learn the functional and technical domain of pricing, contracting, market access, revenue management, rebates, and chargebacks in the life sciences industry.

    • Translate documented requirements, user stories, defects, and support needs into technical configuration, system changes, test scenarios, and operational documentation.

    • Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements intake, design, configuration, testing, deployment, validation, release management, and post-release support.

    • Work closely with internal technical teams, managed service providers, vendors, QA, compliance, and validation partners to deliver platform changes safely and effectively.

    • Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, document findings, and implement approved fixes or configuration changes within established change control processes.

    • Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, test evidence, release notes, and support materials required for regulated systems and audit readiness.

    • Apply AI and agentic AI concepts to improve software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, configuration support, testing, documentation, issue triage, and operational efficiency.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, release management, change control, and operational support.

    • Hands-on technical aptitude with the ability to learn enterprise software platforms, execute configuration changes, troubleshoot issues, and support system enhancements.

    • Ability to rapidly build functional and technical knowledge in pricing, contracting, market access, revenue management, gross-to-net, government reporting, rebates, and chargeback processes.

    • Working knowledge of AI and agentic AI concepts, with an interest in applying them to software delivery, testing, documentation, support, and productivity improvement.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate system behavior, identify root causes, and document clear technical findings.

    • Attention to detail and discipline in following system lifecycle, change management, testing, validation, and documentation requirements for regulated systems.

    • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, vendors, managed service providers, QA, compliance, validation, and support teams.

    • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical changes, issues, test results, and release activities in a concise and accurate manner.

    • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities, systems, and business processes continue to evolve.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data science, or another technical discipline; equivalent technical experience may be considered.

    • Typically requires 2–4 years of experience in software development, enterprise systems, technical configuration, systems analysis, data, or a related technical discipline.

    • Experience working within the software development lifecycle, including requirements, configuration, testing, release management, change control, documentation, and production support.

    • Exposure to enterprise software platforms, configuration-driven applications, integrations, reporting tools, or data management processes is preferred.

    • Exposure to Model N, sell-side contracting, government spend transparency reporting, gross-to-net, revenue management, rebates, or chargeback processing is preferred but not required.

    • Interest in life sciences commercial operations, market access technology, regulated systems, and the technical platforms that support revenue management processes.

    • Demonstrated understanding of AI and agentic AI concepts and how they can be applied to improve software development, testing, documentation, support, and delivery efficiency.
