    Description

    ResponsibilitiesSeeking a Senior Planner in our Valencia location to plan materials for production flow lines in line with MRP system requirements and ensure appropriate and effective levels of available on‑hand inventory. Reporting to the Department Manager, this role is an integral part of a larger dedicated planning team where collaboration is required to ensure targets are met and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment, ensures continuous improvement, adds value, and collaborates with various company disciplines to achieve on‑time delivery and cost requirements.Promote work orders from the MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirementsReview and process required MRP exception messagesMaintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflictsImplement and maintain Kanban processesCollaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast driversProvide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introductions and phase‑outsPerform related inventory transactions into the ERP systemWork with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate informationExecute excellence around stock and demand replenishment, providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demandPlan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and productionMonitor, analyze, and report performance against baseline schedules to ensure contractual cost and schedule objectives are metQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is a plusHS Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 8 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environmentAbility to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detailMRP experience is requiredIntermediate level of Microsoft Office competenciesExperience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecastingStrong communication and organizational skillsProblem‑solving under constraintsAbility to work effectively both independently and within cross‑functional teamsParticipate in production meetings, reporting on status and any issuesDesired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAerospace experienceAPICS certificationEqual Opportunity StatementTriumph Group and all its divisions and subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employers.
