Job Description

Role Summary: The Senior Analytics Manager leads enterprise-wide quantitative and qualitative research to drive strategic decision-making and enhance client and employee experiences. This role functions as a "player-coach, " directly managing a team of three analysts while executing advanced statistical modeling and data integration across disparate sources.

Technical Skills & Data Expertise:
  • Utilize Python (preferred), R, SPSS, SAS, or SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques, including Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Elastic Net (ENET), and K-means clustering.
  • Interpret and validate code logic to troubleshoot data pipelines and ensure absolute data accuracy.
  • Recommend and evolve quantitative methodologies to improve research outcomes.
  • Leverage AI and automation to streamline analysis and expand access to behavioral and operational data points.
  • Maintain expert proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced tools like PHStat2) and PowerPoint for data visualization.
Functional & Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage and mentor three analysts, providing guidance on analytical best practices and technical development.
  • Synthesize complex findings into compelling narratives that provide a clear path from data insight to business action.
  • Establish a "knowledge warehouse " of repeatable code and standardized processes for junior team members.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional departments to align research priorities with high-level corporate strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the efficiency of the analytics lifecycle.
Behavioral Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate an intellectually curious and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting to executive stakeholders.
  • Possess 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a related field (7+ years specifically with Python/SQL).
  • Maintain 3+ years of experience in a formal leadership or managerial role.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred).
