Senior Annual Giving Coordinator – The University of Georgia – Athens, GA. The University is a public research institution in Athens, Georgia.Position SummaryThis permanent role oversees the Engagement Center activities, manages staff and shifts, and serves as the annual giving liaison for multiple schools, colleges, and units. The incumbent develops strategy, collateral, and performance metrics; communicates with stakeholders; and ensures operations run smoothly.ResponsibilitiesSupervise Engagement Center staffing, set goals, and develop strategic plans.Manage data processes, troubleshoot with platform vendors, and ensure accurate reporting.Coordinate with IT, foundation accounting, and internal partners to book pledges and gifts in GAIL.Partner with annual giving liaisons to plan and execute the Engagement Center strategy for each unit, including calling pools and segmentation.Manage pledge reminder cadence via email, text, and direct mail.Recruit, train, and schedule student assistants for Engagement Center shifts.Develop and run multi‑channel annual giving campaigns (direct mail, email, digital, phone, texting, etc.) for 3–4 assigned schools and units.Coordinate special giving initiatives and advise unit staff on best practices.Plan and execute text message campaigns, analyze performance, and report results.Respond to donor inquiries from phone, email, and direct mail.QualificationsMinimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.Preferred Qualification: At least three years of experience in higher‑education fundraising, preferably annual giving.One year or more of experience in phone or digital solicitation management or call/engagement center supervisory experience.Experience training and coaching interns or employees.Demonstrates behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the University of Georgia.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Organizational and customer‑service orientation.Advanced computer skills, data analysis, and ability to use new media proficiencies.Knowledge of annual giving best practices, Word, Excel, database management, and email systems.Additional Division RequirementsMaintain a respectful, inclusive workplace and adhere to CASE and industry standards for fundraising reporting.EEO Policy StatementThe University of Georgia is an Equal Opportunity employer.
