Senior Appian Developer

Location: Washington, DC (Remote)

Duration: 8+ months

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Appian solutions, translating business needs into robust, scalable applications and workflows.
• Build dynamic user interfaces, design complex business rules, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Apply experience in business process management, web services integrations, and Appian development team leadership.
• Guide both technical and business stakeholders with strong communication skills.

Required Skills:

• Understand reusable constants and query rules.
• Use related objects for fast deployment.
• Create custom and focused user experiences.
• Build process models and executable workflows.
• Knowledge of low code integrations with external systems.
• Knowledge of records, forms, and reports using Appian's expression language.
• Create scalable and maintainable applications.

Preferred Skills:

• Agile Requirement Gathering: Intermediate

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience working in Appian.
• 3 years of experience in successful software delivery or software development.
• Knowledge of Appian platform essentials and suite of capabilities.
• Experience with configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications, specifically Appian.
• Strong problem-solving and design skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum.

Education:

• Appian Certified Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer Certifications.
