Job Overview
The Senior Application Developer will design, develop, test, implement, and maintain applications across multiple project areas. This role requires a well-rounded developer capable of working independently, contributing to technical planning and solution design, and providing mentorship and technical guidance to other team members.
Job Duties
Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications across multiple projects.
Perform technical planning, analysis, and solution design for application development initiatives.
Develop and maintain web applications and software using a variety of programming languages and development tools.
Develop reports and application functionality using HTML and other appropriate technologies.
Perform unit and system testing and create supporting test documentation.
Create technical documentation describing application functionality, testing methods, and business or functional workflows.
Apply software reusability guidelines and identify opportunities to improve development practices.
Use version control tools to manage source code and technical documentation.
Work independently to complete assigned development tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
Provide technical guidance and formal mentorship to peers and lower-level staff through verbal instruction and technical documentation.
Adapt to new tools and technologies and provide constructive recommendations for improving development processes.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience.
7+ years of experience with solutions design, project technical planning, analysis and design, communication, testing, and implementation.
7+ years of experience recommending software reusability guidelines.
Experience with MS SQL Developer.
Experience in Enterprise Data Modeling.
Experience with GIT, GITHUB, AZURE, C#, .NET 1.1 to current, ASP, JavaScript, Knockout, JSON, API, Node.js, Azure Pipelines, REACT, and REDUX.
