Akkodis is seeking a Senior Application developer/.Net/ Ruby on Rails for a Contract with a client in Carollton, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and microservices while supporting software deployment, performance optimization, and ongoing production support.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Application developer/.Net/ Ruby on Rails Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, microservices, and web services using .NET Core, C#, and Ruby on Rails technologies.

• Build and support scalable APIs, database solutions, and cloud-based applications across Azure and AWS environments.

• Apply Agile, BDD, and TDD methodologies to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

• Manage application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and production releases using modern DevOps practices.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues while providing ongoing support for business-critical applications and user requests.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical initiatives, and contribute to software architecture, code reviews, performance optimization, and security best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 8-10 years of experience in application development with strong expertise in .NET technologies and/or Ruby on Rails.

• Proven experience developing enterprise applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs using .NET Core, C#, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL/SQL Server, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Strong knowledge of Agile, BDD/TDD methodologies, DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes), application security (OAuth2, IAM/CIAM), and software architecture best practices.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
