Job Title: Senior Application Developer
Location: Sacramento, CA 95814 (Remote)
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $65-$70/hour
Responsibilities:- Maintain and support SOS application environment
- Gather and document business requirements
- Develop, test, and enhance application modules
- Participate in code reviews and walkthroughs
- Create and maintain application documentation
- Attend team meetings with SOS contract manager
- Manage change control processes
- Execute test plans and regression testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Qualifications:- Experience with Appeon PowerBuilder 2022 and Oracle 11g
- 3+ years developing Windows applications using PowerBuilder 12.5+
- 3+ years working with Oracle 11g relational databases
- Experience upgrading legacy PowerBuilder applications
- Experience integrating applications with Windows 11, Office 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with Secretary of State business processes
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
