As an integral part of the Advanced Technology Engineering team, you will drive the company's innovation and expansion by spearheading the design and development of cutting-edge products and applications. This role is pivotal in supporting the sales force, facilitating revenue growth, and guiding the launch of new products into production. You'll collaborate closely with the Product Launch team to ensure new designs are approved efficiently for production.
Key duties involve creating comprehensive engineering estimates that account for material needs, processing steps, operational costs, and tooling expenses. You will offer design recommendations to optimize customer components for manufacturability via our MIM technologies, including producing detailed modifications to CAD files. Additionally, you will direct the production and delivery of engineering samples, and conduct technical discussions with clients to ensure their requirements are met while also representing their interests in discussions with internal teams. Participation in the Advanced Product Quality Planning process is also a critical aspect of this position.
Ideal candidates will have engineering experience with metal injection molding or powder metallurgy, along with a strong aptitude for design and client interaction.
