Senior Applications Engineer – US, Southwest (Remote)
$95K-$110K Base | High Travel Opportunity

A leading global industrial technology and manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer, based out of Texas or another southwestern state, to support customers and sales teams throughout Latin America, from Mexico through Argentina.

This is a highly hands-on, technical, and customer-facing role focused on customer applications, equipment testing, troubleshooting, process analysis, and providing practical technical solutions. The role will partner closely with Regional Sales Managers and internal engineering/product teams to evaluate customer needs, demonstrate equipment capabilities, and support complex powder-processing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and applications support to customers and sales teams across Latin America
• Conduct customer application testing and evaluate milling, screening, and powder-processing solutions
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing challenges and develop effective technical recommendations
• Analyze test results and prepare clear reports, findings, and customer-facing recommendations
• Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers on customer visits, technical discussions, and sales opportunities
• Work with Engineering, Product Marketing, and other technical teams to evaluate equipment designs, applications, and process improvements
• Travel approximately 25-40%, including international travel to Latin America, Canada, and the UK

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Applications Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering field preferred
• Strong mechanical and technical background with hands-on equipment experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Experience with powder processing, milling, screening, material characteristics, testing, troubleshooting, or similar applications preferred
• Familiarity with CAD, engineering drawings, schematics, pneumatics, electronics, or related technical systems is a plus
• Spanish speaking is highly preferred; Portuguese is a plus
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders
