Description

A highly successful and rapidly growing California plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a Senior Arbitration Associate Attorney to join its expanding Arbitration Department. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a substantial caseload focused on wage and hour disputes, mass arbitrations, and related employment law matters while working closely with department leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a high-volume caseload of employment law arbitrations, with a primary focus on wage and hour claimsDraft and review arbitration demands, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and discovery responsesConduct legal research and develop litigation and arbitration strategies for individual and mass arbitration mattersPrepare for and represent clients at arbitration hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and related proceedingsCollaborate with department leadership to improve workflows, templates, and operational efficienciesEnsure compliance with arbitration provider rules and procedures, including AAA and JAMS protocolsMonitor case progress and maintain accurate reporting on case status and key milestonesWork closely with legal support staff and attorneys to achieve favorable client outcomesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership in good standing4+ years of employment law litigation experienceSignificant experience handling wage and hour claims, PAGA matters, and employment-related arbitrationsExperience managing high-volume or mass arbitration caseloads strongly preferredWorking knowledge of AAA, JAMS, and other arbitration forum proceduresStrong legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skillsExcellent organizational and case management abilitiesAbility to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environmentWhat You'll FindOpportunity to work on sophisticated plaintiff‑side employment mattersHigh level of responsibility and case ownershipCollaborative and growth‑oriented legal teamDirect partnership with department leadershipLong‑term career advancement opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and benefits packageCompensationTotal compensation range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually, including base salary and performance‑based incentives.Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.Job ID177557#J-18808-Ljbffr
