    Description

    Senior Architect

    Talent Consultant Group is partnered with a firm that is seeking a Senior Architect to join their growing team in Jacksonville, FL.

    This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by defining structural or project elements and processes to meet client needs; participating in and coordinating estimates and proposal/bid preparations; ensuring performance to contracts through shared planning and monitoring of work orders and deliverables with engineering, construction, and other disciplines; planning and developing architectural projects concerning unique and/or controversial complexities; participating in the conceptual design and providing full support through the entire project; coordinating with project management, other architects, and leadership on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies; promoting and maintaining client relationships through all project phases and serving as a firm ambassador in helping to win new work; developing and representing lead technical viewpoint on projects and serving as a SME on specialized systems; reviewing junior staff's work for technical accuracy and providing technical guidance to other professionals and technicians; and performing quality control reviews, field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects. This position may also lead a multidisciplinary team to complete projects and/or manage a small team of direct reports.

    Qualifications:

    • Have a degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent experience.
    • Have 10-years' experience, including working on parts of major projects or multiple, moderate-sized projects, providing technical guidance to entry/junior-level staff, reviewing others' work for technical accuracy, and participating in the design and implementation of new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans that had great impact on the achievement of functional results.
    • Possess an active license in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other relevant ordinances.
    • Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
    • Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
    • Have proven ability successfully addressing challenging issues in a sound professional and business-like manner.
    • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
    • Be US Citizen per client requirement
