Senior Architectural Designer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join a dynamic, multi-discipline team focused on delivering innovative and technically advanced facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects including data centers and industrial manufacturing facilities while collaborating with engineers, designers, clients, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Architect/Architectural Lead on complex, multi-discipline projects.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to develop construction documents for advanced facilities.
• Perform all aspects of architectural design, planning, and technical development with minimal supervision.
• Apply advanced architectural techniques, analysis, and problem-solving skills to develop innovative design solutions.
• Review and evaluate design work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to drafters, designers, and engineers.
• Conduct calculation checks and quality reviews of work completed by others.
• Coordinate layouts, technical designs, specifications, construction drawings, and model development.
• Participate in project meetings and assist in resolving cross-disciplinary design challenges.
• Champion internal and external quality review processes.
• Support construction activities including:
  • Reviewing submittals
  • Responding to RFIs and contractor/client questions
  • Conducting field walks and site observations
• Deliver technical and business presentations to clients and internal teams.
• Assist with proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality control, innovation, and project delivery excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• Professional Architectural License with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states
• Minimum of 8 years of professional architectural design experience
• Expert-level proficiency in:
  • Revit
  • Bluebeam
  • Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of building codes and their application to industrial facilities
• Experience developing scopes of work, budgets, and reviewing project schedules
• Ability to lead small architectural teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines
• Previous project management experience
• Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR); candidate may be required to drive a rental car during travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture
• Experience designing:
