A highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Construction Attorney to join its growing Boston office. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and mission-driven clients on sophisticated real estate development, construction, and infrastructure projects.Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have significant experience advising colleges, universities, hospitals, foundations, nonprofit organizations, or other institutional clients on a broad range of real estate and construction matters. This attorney will play a key role in structuring and negotiating complex transactions while serving as a trusted advisor to clients with long‑term real estate and campus development needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise higher education and nonprofit clients on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development matters.Draft and negotiate construction agreements, architect and engineering contracts, and other project‑related documents.Counsel clients on campus expansion projects, mixed‑use developments, public‑private partnerships, and infrastructure initiatives.Conduct due diligence, title review, survey analysis, and risk assessments for real estate transactions.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex projects from inception through completion.Provide practical, business‑oriented legal advice to institutional clients and executive leadership teams.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school and active Massachusetts bar admission (or ability to waive in).5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate and construction matters.Demonstrated experience representing higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, healthcare systems, or similar institutional clients.Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.Ability to independently manage transactions while collaborating effectively with clients and colleagues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Full‑time, hybridSalary range: $175,000-$225,000 annually + performance bonuses(Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.)Comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility requirements, including:#J-18808-Ljbffr
