Senior Associate Attorney

Job description:

• Our mid-sized law firm based in New Haven, Connecticut, with a state-wide practice, is growing and seeking an associate attorney with 4+ years of experience for general practice areas including civil litigation, real estate and land use matters, municipal law, and/or employment law.

Duties shall include:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on various legal matters
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, briefs, applications, and agreements
• Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings, and before boards and commissions
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas
• Marketing and business development

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines
• Experience in the specific practice areas is preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation:

• $130,000 to $175,000 per year, depending on experience
