Position Description

The Senior Associate will join our US office as a member of the Central Data Team. This individual will be a key part of a growing team responsible for Partners Capital’s core data, including manager data, market data, and product master. The Senior Associate should be prepared to assume an ownership role in management of the firm’s most critical inbound reporting pipeline and should be comfortable working cross-functionally and as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of front-line triage and reporting for the firm’s central reporting mailbox, following established routing and escalation procedures and ensuring completion of all actions.
  • Set up new funds and securities in internal systems for client trading as part of the firm’s central product master function. Ensure all data is accurate, second-checked and fit for client use.
  • Liaise with internal investment and operations teams as well as external managers and service providers to close data gaps. Identify opportunities to enhance or streamline data collection.
  • Leverage technology and AI tools to enhance team processes while maintaining accuracy in all processes.
  • Manage ad hoc data requests from stakeholders firmwide. Capably clarify requirements where needed and clearly communicate timelines while delivering to a high-quality standard.
  • Design and embed repeatable data processes (e.g., standard checks, exception logs, automated refreshes, documented workflows) to improve reliability and timeliness.
  • Ensure complete, accurate tracking of all investment documents including but not limited to PPMs, LPAs, monthly statements, capital statements, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Support firm data governance and cleanup efforts by contributing to large data cleanup and/or backfill exercises.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and contribute to broader team and firm projects, including AI development, data mastery, data definitions and internal and external reporting.
  • Support coordination across regions (including the US) and contribute to consistent global processes, ensuring handoffs and shared deliverables are well managed.

Key responsibilities may be assessed and are subject to change from time to time based on the needs of the business. The individual may be required to work overtime as needed.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring all information security processes, policies and procedures are adhered to and any issues or concerns are raised with the Cyber Security team
  • Ensure full compliance with all local data protection regulations and privacy controls, and any related issues are raised via the appropriate channels

Qualifications / Attributes

If you believe you have some (or all) of these attributes and are looking to fulfil your potential in an engaging role with an excellent long-term career progression in a growing firm, we encourage you to apply.
