SUMMARY:
The Marketing, Communications, and Outreach team at the Connecticut Green Bank (hereafter "Green Bank") is seeking a Senior Associate focused on contractor partnerships and engagement.
For this role, the Green Bank is seeking a marketing and relationship-driven professional who understands how contractors operate, sell, and grow their businesses. This role sits at the intersection of channel marketing, field engagement, and contractor partnership development. Key goals will focus on retention, recruitment, and relationship building with contractors that can participate in Green Bank programs.
The Senior Associate will focus on marketing and outreach efforts and campaigns designed to grow and nurture the Green Bank's contractor channel, supporting program teams engaging with contractors, and building direct relationships with contractors and related trade groups. The Senior Associate will work across the organization to support contractor utilization of Green Bank products and to further grow and develop the Green Bank Contractor Network. This role provides the opportunity to shape and grow a statewide contractor network with a direct impact on Connecticut's green economy.
Contractors, ranging from those who install solar and battery storage, energy efficiency, HVAC, and other energy and resilience related improvements, are an important part of the Green Bank community and an essential partner in making our products accessible to residential, commercial, and other stakeholders. This role executes this vision through consistent interaction and engagement with the contractor community and understands the value of building relationships that drive positive business outcomes.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
General Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience performing duties similar to the needs of this role. Experience working with energy financing programs or contractors is a plus.
Substitutions Allowed:
A bachelor's degree may be substituted for three (3) years of general experience. In this situation, the candidate must have 2 years of full-time work experience.
The Green Bank will determine if this position will be filled at the Associate, Senior Associate, or Associate Manager level based on the experience and qualifications of the individual selected.
Prospective applicants who meet most but not all selection criteria are encouraged to apply for the position, except for those who are not able to be in the Hartford office at least twice per week.
