    KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead multiple key Budget Formulation and Budget Execution Financial Management activities, including authoring strategic guidance, supporting stakeholders throughout the lifecycle, and developing executive dashboards to improve data transparency and compliance
    • Lead efforts centered around the financial management of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Budget Estimate Submission (BES), and Presidents Budget (PB) submissions, including tracking of changes to budget estimates, tracking against appropriated and Working Capital Fund limitations, and drafting of necessary submission document (e.g., narratives, data calls, etc.)
    • Lead efforts to support with Execution year tracking of funds and compliance with Federal financial regulations, including tracking against Obligation benchmarks, tracking against budget controls, and compliance with appropriated fund year requirements
    • Partner with federal stakeholders to assess current-state financial operations and proactively introduce industry-leading methodologies and digital tools to modernize their budget formulation and execution processes
    • Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards to transform complex financial data into transparent, accessible, and actionable visualizations for agency leadership

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of three years of federal financial management experience
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA / CGFM / CDFM certifications preferred
    • Demonstrated, hands-on experience with all the components of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle
    • Experience analyzing financial and systems processes and controls
    • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
    • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance
