As a Partnership Tax Senior Associate, you will lead compliance for complex tax returns and provide high-level consulting for a diverse portfolio of individual, trust, partnership, and S-corp clients. Your Impact:
Engagement Leadership: Plan, execute, and complete tax projects across various industries while managing budgets and supporting proposal activities.
Strategic Consulting: Provide innovative tax planning and technical expertise to help clients navigate complex financial landscapes.
Team Development: Supervise, train, and mentor staff, providing performance feedback for engagement and year-end reviews.
Client Advocacy: Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, meet deadlines, and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
Technical Excellence: Research complex tax matters and utilize advanced software to process high-quality returns.
The Must-Haves:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA Readiness: Must meet the 150-hour requirement to sit for the CPA exam.
Experience: At least 2 years of progressive tax compliance or consulting experience in public accounting (or a public/industry mix).
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in US GAAP, partnership, S-corp, individual, and trust returns.
The Nice-to-Haves:
Certification: CPA license is preferred.
Niche Expertise: Experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWI), owners of closely held businesses, private companies, and family offices.
Strategy: A proven track record of implementing successful tax strategies.
