Senior Associate, Sustainability & Impact Investing

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading private investment firm based in Boston, with over $200B in assets under management across private equity, credit, public equity, and real estate. They are seeking a Senior Associate / Manager to join their Sustainability & Impact team. This individual will play a key role in advancing firm-wide sustainability initiatives, supporting investor-facing reporting, and collaborating across investment, portfolio management, and investor relations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sustainability and impact reporting initiatives, including annual reports and industry framework submissions.
• Partner with investor relations teams to develop sustainability-related investor communications.
• Conduct research on sustainability, ESG, and impact investing topics to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with investment professionals, portfolio teams, and portfolio companies to drive sustainability and impact performance.
• Support data collection, measurement, and reporting processes related to ESG and impact metrics.
• Assist in the development of sustainability-focused events, forums, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Approximately 4-7 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, management consulting, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong project management, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
