    Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney in Torrance, CA, with expertise in personal injury, medical case management, liens, and subrogation. The role involves maximizing client recoveries post-settlement through strategic negotiation and client advocacy, without the demands of active litigation.Duties Provide leadership and guidance to Liens Negotiators and Assistants.Communicate and negotiate with medical providers and insurance entities.Train staff on negotiating and documenting personal injury and attorney liens.Resolve outstanding liens to maximize client recovery.Stay informed of lien laws, regulations, and procedures.Assist clients with lien-related inquiries and settlement impacts.Draft correspondence and legal research memoranda.Collaborate with litigation, settlement, accounting, and liens teams.Requirements Strong knowledge of Personal Injury Liens.5+ years of experience in personal injury or healthcare lien resolution.Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes preferred.Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar preferred.Experience with governmental and private insurance lien resolution.Experience writing department processes and procedures preferred.Experience in a plaintiff's law firm preferred.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications California Bar License preferred.Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to lead and train a team.Proficient in legal research and documentation.Benefits Paid time off and paid holidays.Opportunities for growth and advancement.Team outings and sponsored events.Employee referral bonus program.Firm-paid Medical HMO with affordable upgrades.Low-cost Dental and Vision plans.Firm-paid Life and AD&D insurance.401k.FSA (Flexible Spending Account).EAP (Employee Assistance Program).Pet Insurance.Additional Skills Insurance CoverageInsurance Regulatory & ComplianceInsurance Plaintiffs - GeneralPersonal Injury PlaintiffsLitigation - Health Care - Plaintiffs#J-18808-Ljbffr
