Job Details

Serve as in-charge on audit engagements for governmental entities
Plan, supervise, and oversee audits for municipalities, school districts, housing authorities, municipal utilities, and other public authorities
Ensure compliance with GAAS, GASB, Yellow Book, and Single Audit standards
Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for quality and accuracy
Act as the primary client contact and manage ongoing client relationships
Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables
Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior associates
Provide performance feedback, coaching, and technical guidance
Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and best practices to clients and leadership
Stay current on governmental accounting regulations and auditing standards
Support efficient execution and completion of multiple audit engagements simultaneously
