This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.ResponsibilitiesSupport initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes through automation; accomplish the technical architecture, roadmap and implementationCollaborate with data‑science and analytics teams to pair control system development with IoT analytics, developing closed‑loop data‑driven enhancements to sophisticated manufacturing systemsElectrical design and modification of industrial control and safety systemsDesign and modification of PLC and Robot programsDesign of process control systems (Torque Tools, Machine Vision, etc.)Design and development of data collection solutionsSupport the development of SCADA applications (Ignition, Kepware, AWS, etc.)Provide production support for sophisticated manufacturing equipmentQualifications6+ years experience with common automation software development languages (ex. Ladder, ST, C/C++)6+ years experience with controls and automation software development environments (ex.
