Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Automation Developer with 9+ years of experience building automation and monitoring solutions for capital markets network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Corvil packet capture, market data feed validation, and large-scale metadata pipelines within trading environments. This role requires close collaboration with network engineering, trading technology, and risk teams to design and implement reliable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for network monitoring and market data instrumentation.
• Build and enhance data collection, validation, and pipeline automation using Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Administer and optimize Corvil packet capture and analytics environments.
• Develop and support metadata systems and REST APIs for operational and configuration management.
• Collaborate with network engineering, trading technology, and risk teams to translate business and operational requirements into scalable automation solutions.
• Validate market data feeds and troubleshoot exchange connectivity issues.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure automation and deployment.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of automation and monitoring platforms.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in automation development for network infrastructure and capital markets environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Corvil packet capture, analytics administration, and tap/span (mirrored traffic) infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL for automation, data collection, validation, and pipeline development.
• Experience with market data feed handlers, exchange connectivity, and FIX/multicast feed protocols.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including:
  • Load balancers
  • Firewalls
  • Routing and switching
  • IP/Port-level session modeling
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Knowledge of CMDB and metadata system design.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
