Serve as the technical owner for automation projects from concept through production, ensuring reliability, safety, scalability, and performance. Design and modify mechanical systems, tooling, fixtures, and machine assemblies using SolidWorks and other CAD tools. Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, sensors, actuators, and electrical control systems. Program, integrate, and support industrial robots and machine vision systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality. Diagnose and resolve complex electromechanical equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Drive equipment reliability, uptime, throughput, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Lead capital equipment projects including vendor management, design reviews, commissioning, validation, and production handoff. Develop project budgets, ROI analyses, and capital expenditure justifications while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
