 Job Title: Senior Automation Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of automation projects from PO through deployment and in some cases, post implementation support.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Manage multiple, concurrent automation initiatives with varying complexity levels
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation plans
  • Participate in the quote, plan, and Project Manage FEED engagements
  • Hold yourself and project team accountable for overall project financial profitability (GP), scope, schedule, and quality
  • Maintain full customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle to encourage repeat business
  • Achieve key stakeholder objectives while meeting customer demands
  • Follow the approved project management processes to ensure project success
  • Assist leadership with establishing project governance, standards, and best practices
  • Present project updates, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership as required
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:

Education/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer) or Business degree with equivalent years of experience in technical field(s)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or SCRUM certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code a plus

Experience/Skills:

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience, including proficiency in project execution standards and strategies
  • 5+ years in DCS, PLC, or SCADA automation
  • Proven track record with customers in managing projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in use of common computer software programs: Microsoft Office, Visio and Project primarily
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and P&IDs
