Senior Automotive Maintenance and Robotics Technical Trainer

Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr

Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead technical training sessions, create instructional plans, support robotics and equipment maintenance activities, and ensure technical readiness across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead training sessions with both new hires and experienced members within the organization.
• Create new training plans as new technologies are implemented.
• Perform offline and online robot programming.
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new body equipment at vendor facilities.
• Support machine maintenance activity at manufacturing facilities from installation to the start of production.
• Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trials.
• Engage in travel or dispatch to manufacturing facilities and suppliers across North America, Canada, Mexico, and Japan.
• Work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require.
• Provide classroom instruction as well as hands-on, on-the-floor technical support.

Requirements:

• Current or recent technical maintenance experience in an automotive environment (10+ years).
• Extensive experience with Toyopuc PLC troubleshooting and logic updates (10+ years).
• Experience with Omron PLC troubleshooting and logic updates (3+ years).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Technical training experience within a maintenance or Seibi group (10+ years).
• Ability to train others in both classroom and on-the-job training (OJT) environments.
• Ability to write training curriculum and present effectively to teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime (up to 50%) and weekends as needed.
