We are seeking experienced aviation maintenance and inspection professionals with deep expertise in aircraft maintenance, regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and inspection procedures.
You’ll review and evaluate aircraft maintenance documentation, borescope inspection findings, composite structures, approach plates, and flight operations materials. The role requires strong knowledge of FAA regulations and the ability to clearly document technical judgments, identify discrepancies, and explain maintenance and inspection procedures.
No prior AI experience is required. Your aviation maintenance expertise and regulatory knowledge are the primary qualifications.
Review, analyze, and annotate aircraft maintenance manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs), and related technical documentation.
Evaluate borescope engine inspection data, identify anomalies, and provide technically appropriate corrective recommendations based on applicable FAA requirements.
Assess composite structure inspection processes and findings for regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
Interpret approach plates and flight operations briefing materials and provide feedback on navigational and operational accuracy.
Provide detailed written and verbal explanations of aircraft maintenance and inspection procedures.
Cross-reference maintenance tasks against applicable FAA Parts 43, 121, 135, and 145 requirements.
Review and validate aviation maintenance datasets and technical scenarios for accuracy and real-world applicability.
Apply practical aviation maintenance experience to identify discrepancies, clarify technical requirements, and support accurate process representation.
8+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and regulatory compliance.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate, Inspection Authorization (IA), or equivalent Part 145 inspector status strongly preferred.
Expertise in borescope engine inspection, including interpretation of inspection imagery and reports.
Strong ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, IPCs, and approach plates.
Thorough working knowledge of FAA Parts 43, 121, 135, and 145 and their practical application.
Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance inspection procedures and regulated aviation environments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to document technical findings and rationale precisely.
Experience as a check airman or in aviation maintenance training, mentoring, or technical instruction is a plus.
Contractor engagement.
Remote work, with US-based professionals preferred.
$70–$130 per hour.
Annual compensation equivalent of $134,400–$249,600 based on 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks. This is an annualized full-time equivalent and does not represent guaranteed annual earnings.
