As a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, managing cloud migrations, and ensuring effective collaboration with development teams. You will drive automation, improve software delivery processes, and ensure the scalability and security of cloud environments. Your role will be critical in enhancing the DevOps processes and cloud architecture, promoting continuous improvement across AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage CI/CD processes for various applications and automate as many workflows as possible to improve efficiency
Migrate workloads to AWS Cloud ensuring seamless transitions while optimizing cost and performance
Build and maintain AWS cloud environments for customers ensuring they are secure, scalable and high-performing
Propose enhancements for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
Provide support for development teams on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Set up cloud monitoring and optimize infrastructure for cost and performance ensuring high availability and efficient resource usage
Oversee the full release process ensuring smooth deployments and continuous delivery of cloud-based applications
Requirements
5+ years of experience in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting AWS-based production systems
Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, VPC, CloudFormation and IAM
Strong knowledge of AWS networking services: VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Load Balancer, API Gateway, Security Groups and more
Practical experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration in AWS
Solid understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Data Dog, Prometheus) and setting up performance alerts and optimization
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Proven ability to implement CI/CD practices using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
Knowledge of cloud security best practices such as IAM, encryption and secure access control
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash or Shell) to automate and improve cloud operations
Familiarity with AWS Cost Management tools and cost optimization strategies
Proactively identify areas for improvement, drive automation and contribute to architectural decisions
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams ensuring successful deployments and alignment with business needs
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
