We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud & Linux Engineer with strong expertise in AWS architecture, Linux administration, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling L3 cloud operations, infrastructure design, automation, and performance optimization.
This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong understanding of cloud cost management (FinOps), and hands-on experience in modern containerization and CI/CD technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure with focus on architecture, scalability, and cost optimization.
Provide L3-level cloud operations support including troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Implement automation scripts using Shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools.
Work on AWS FinOps - cost analysis, budgeting, and optimization strategies.
Deploy and manage workloads on AWS EKS (Kubernetes) and Docker containers.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Create and manage AWS CloudFormation / IaC templates for repeatable and reliable deployments.
Implement and manage AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for automation, patching, and maintenance tasks.
Ensure cloud security compliance with strong experience in AWS IAM, security best practices, and access control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver SAP BASIS support on AWS environments (preferred).
Monitor and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, OEL, Ubuntu) with performance tuning and patch management.
Work with GitHub for source code management, branching, and DevOps integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong expertise in AWS Cloud architecture & operations at enterprise scale.
Advanced knowledge of Linux administration (system performance, networking, patching).
Hands-on experience with AWS FinOps (cost optimization & governance).
Strong Shell scripting and automation background.
Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation / IaC tools.
Deep understanding of AWS IAM, security policies, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with AWS SSM for patching and automation.
Familiarity with GitHub workflows and version control best practices.
Bonus: Exposure to SAP BASIS administration in AWS environments.
