Senior AWS Security Architect

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Job Overview:

Senior-level Security Architect with approximately 8+ years of experience, ideally having progressed from an engineering background into architecture. Proven experience working closely with Application, Infrastructure, and Solution Architects. Demonstrates strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as regulatory and compliance-focused audiences.

Critical Technical Experience:

• Application Security.
• API Security.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Network Security.
• Hybrid Cloud Environments.
• Security Architecture within large-scale modernization or transformation programs.
• AWS and Azure cloud security expertise.
• Experience supporting migrations from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.

Preferred Industry Backgrounds:

• Lottery/Gaming (highly preferred).
• Casino/Gaming.
• Retail.
• Financial Services.
• Large, highly regulated enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Identify security risks early in project lifecycles.
• Support modernization initiatives within retail technology.
• Provide practical security guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate across architecture and leadership groups.

Work Arrangement:

Limited travel may occasionally be required for workshops or architecture team meetings.
