• Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
• Hybrid work environment based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Azure data solutions within a sophisticated financial-services environment.
• Exposure to modern cloud data technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and data lake architectures.
• Contract engagement currently scheduled through March 31, 2027.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Design, build, and enhance scalable data solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines supporting enterprise data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Build and optimize cloud-based data lake architectures for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Leverage Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks to support data engineering and analytics workloads.
• Implement data security, governance, and compliance controls appropriate for an enterprise financial environment.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational requirements.
• Troubleshoot data-processing issues and improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing solutions.

Do you bring proven success in enterprise Azure data engineering?

• 10+ years of overall professional experience consistent with a senior-level technology role.
• Strong hands-on experience building data solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience with Databricks in an enterprise data environment.
• Experience designing or supporting data lakes and cloud-based data architectures.
• Understanding of data security, access controls, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Azure certifications are strongly relevant to the position.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
