Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Core Java Developer with 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable, resilient, and cloud-native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, multithreading, concurrency, AWS cloud services, backend architecture, and DevOps practices. Experience building distributed, event-driven systems and delivering enterprise solutions in Agile environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using ECS, EKS, EC2, and Docker.
• Build asynchronous and event-driven microservices using Kafka, AWS SQS, and SNS.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs following industry best practices for versioning, security, and exception handling.
• Build highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient distributed systems.
• Implement multithreading, concurrency, and Java design patterns to optimize application performance.
• Develop backend services using Spring IOC, AOP, JDBC, Transactions, and annotations.
• Utilize Java 17 features including Lambda Expressions, Streams, Records, and Concurrency APIs.
• Integrate microservices with existing enterprise applications to support modernization initiatives.
• Secure applications using Spring Security, OAuth2, AWS IAM, Secrets Manager, and KMS.
• Develop ETL and data integration solutions using Apache NiFi and Talend.
• Write optimized SQL queries and work with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Manage application artifacts using AWS S3, ECR, and CodeArtifact.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Automate deployments and server configuration using Ansible.
• Monitor application performance using Splunk, CloudWatch, and Log4j.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities using OWASP best practices and SonarQube.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, sprint planning, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions within project timelines.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of Core Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance backend enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, EC2, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, KMS, and S3.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Spring Security and OAuth2.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
