Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering a modern e-commerce marketplace. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Golang, distributed systems, cloud platforms, API development, and data pipelines. This role requires close collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
  • Build and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for internal and third-party integrations.
  • Develop and support Airflow data pipelines using Python.
  • Design distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
  • Lead backend architecture discussions and perform code reviews.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Must-have Skills:
  • 7+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of production experience with Golang.
  • Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.
  • Strong experience designing REST and gRPC APIs.
  • Experience developing Airflow DAGs using Python.
  • Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
  • Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run.
