Position Overview:
The Senior Behavioral Health Operations Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for monitoring operational performance, grant-funded initiatives, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and service delivery across Behavioral Health programs.
This position serves as the primary operational partner to the Chief Behavioral Health Officer and works collaboratively with program leaders, finance, billing, quality improvement, compliance, and executive leadership to ensure successful achievement of organizational goals, grant deliverables, licensing requirements, and performance expectations.
The Senior Manager develops performance monitoring systems, oversees program evaluation efforts, identifies operational barriers, and provides executive leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve access, quality, outcomes, productivity, compliance, and financial sustainability.
What you will do:
Program Performance & Quality
Develop and maintain Behavioral Health performance dashboards
Monitor program productivity, access, engagement, retention, and discharge outcomes.
Coordinate quality improvement initiatives.
Present weekly and monthly performance reports to executive leadership.
Grant, Financial & Regulatory Oversight
Monitor performance of federal, state, tribal, county, and private grant-funded programs.
Track approximately $16 million in grant-funded program activities and deliverables.
Partner with Finance and Revenue Cycle teams to monitor program financial performance.
Monitor compliance with federal, state, tribal, and contractual requirements.
Strategic Planning & Executive Leadership
Serve as strategic advisor to the Chief Behavioral Health Officer.
Lead operational planning efforts.
Support development of new service lines and program expansion initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving finance, grants, compliance, operations, and clinical leadership.
Operational Excellence
Identify operational barriers impacting performance.
Develop corrective action plans when performance targets are not achieved.
Partner with Compliance and Quality teams to mitigate risk.
