Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a comprehensive benefits portfolio, including health, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of the annual benefits enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience through effective communication and vendor negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with management and brokers to optimize benefit offerings and implement innovative improvements.
- Administer and enhance the company’s 401(k) program, ensuring compliance and top-tier participant engagement.
- Handle Form 5500 submissions and oversee retirement audits, maintaining stringent adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Advise on retirement strategy transitions, such as vendor changes, leveraging experience with recordkeeper migrations.
- Administer comprehensive leave policies and the ADA accommodation process, ensuring a supportive and compliant workplace.
- Develop clear, engaging educational materials to enhance employee understanding of complex benefit structures.
- Establish strong external partnerships with brokers, insurers, and third-party administrators to optimize program delivery.
- Ensure alignment with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other relevant statutes.

Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree with substantial experience (5+ years) in benefits or HR with leadership involvement.
- Proven track record in executing Open Enrollment and managing sophisticated benefit plans.
- Skilled in 401(k) administration, compliance, and transitions.
- Comprehensive understanding of leave laws and ADA requirements.
- Proficient with HRIS use and data analysis, adept at navigating sensitive matters with discretion.
