Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior BI Developer – Power BI with strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Data Engineering. The role focuses on designing and delivering advanced analytics solutions, building scalable dashboards, developing robust data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights for enterprise financial and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have architect-level experience with BI tools and the Azure BI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

BI Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Build visually compelling reports aligned with finance and business reporting needs.
• Optimize report performance, user experience, and dashboard efficiency.

Data Modeling & Analytics

• Develop advanced data models using star and snowflake schemas.
• Implement DAX calculations, KPIs, and measures for financial analytics.
• Ensure high performance through query and model optimization.

Data Engineering & Integration

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
• Perform data transformation, integration, validation, and ingestion from multiple structured and unstructured sources.

Advanced BI & Architecture

• Develop and manage SSAS Tabular models.
• Implement data security, governance, and access controls.
• Optimize query performance, storage strategies, and dashboard integration into enterprise applications.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Document technical specifications and BI solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and SLA adherence for BI tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 10+ years in BI development and data engineering, with a focus on finance reporting or financial analytics.
• Core Skills:
  • Advanced expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, report sharing).
  • Strong experience in Tableau dashboard design and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure BI stack: ADF, Databricks, SSAS, ADLS, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, schema design, and data pipelines.
• Database Technologies: Azure SQL, MongoDB
• Programming (Optional): Python (preferred but not mandatory)

Good to Have:

• Experience with Looker and Dynamics 365
• Familiarity with enterprise reporting platforms and integrations
