ABOUT THE POSITION

Position Title: Senior Branch Member Account Specialist

As a Senior Branch Member Account Specialist, you’ll serve as a trusted resource for members throughout some of their most important financial moments, whether that’s opening a new account, applying for a loan, planning for the future, or finding solutions that improve their financial well-being.

This is more than a traditional banking role. You’ll combine relationship building, problem solving, and financial guidance while working alongside an experienced team dedicated to delivering exceptional member experiences.

Position Type: Full-Time. Typical shifts include Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM, with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM to 12:30PM.

Compensation Range:  $24.36/hr. - $25.50/hr. Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills*

Location: Position is on-site at our Englewood Cliffs Branch located at 120 Van Nostrand Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, NJ. 

What You’ll Do:

• Build meaningful relationships with members and become a trusted resource for their financial needs
• Open and service customer, business, and IRA accounts while ensuring a seamless member experience
• Guide members through consumer lending options and support them throughout the application process
• Identify opportunities to connect members with products and services that align with their goals
• Resolve complex member concerns with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
• Support branch operations, including cash handling and transaction processing when needed
• Collaborate with teammates across multiple branch locations to deliver consistent, high-quality service
• Represent Visions in the community through local events and outreach activities

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of related experience
• Ability to obtain a Notary Public license within one year of accepting the role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and member service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate degree
• Two to four years of experience in customer service, retail banking, financial services, or a related industry
• Experience opening and servicing consumer deposit accounts
• Experience with consumer lending products and applications
• Cash handling and transaction processing experience
