Overview Senior Building Automation Specialist – Location: New York • HybridPosition Summary We're looking for a technically skilled and proactive professional to lead the successful deployment of our energy optimization solutions across multi-residential buildings. This role involves everything from initial site assessments to final system commissioning, client engagement, and ongoing technical support. You'll be at the forefront of improving building efficiency and contributing to a more sustainable future.Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yrKey Responsibilities Conduct on-site building assessments to develop detailed project scopes, including estimates of energy savings and installation costs.Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle to help close deals and ensure client confidence.Oversee project execution from kickoff to commissioning—managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and stakeholder communication to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.Coordinate the integration between Parity's cloud-based platform and on-site devices; work closely with the product team to validate hardware-software interactions.Serve as the technical lead during system commissioning, ensuring compliance with client expectations, program requirements, and internal quality standards.Produce and finalize all necessary project documentation, including design drawings, technical specifications, and close-out materials.Support ongoing building performance as a regional technical expert—troubleshooting issues, optimizing systems, and engaging with customers post-installation.Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Product teams to enhance internal tools, streamline workflows, and continuously improve the client experience.Qualifications Degree in Engineering, ideally with a focus in HVAC, Building Automation, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.5–8 years of experience in at least one of the following areas:MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) EngineeringBuilding Automation System (BAS) DesignWillingness and ability to travel regularly to job sites across New York City's five boroughs.Excellent communication and coordination skills—comfortable interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Highly self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.Able to quickly master new tools and workflows, and take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.Preferred Qualifications Experience managing energy retrofit or controls projects.Background in controls commissioning.Familiarity with Niagara Tridium systems and applications.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeIndustries Building Construction#J-18808-Ljbffr
