
Position Summary
Business Enterprise Solutions (BES) team is a part of the Corporate Technology & Innovation department focusing on key enterprise business solutions to support our company business objectives.
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst, focusing on Workday Data Integration. This person is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and governing enterprise integrations between Workday and other business applications across the organization. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, IT, external vendors, and technical integration resources to ensure that data flows seamlessly, securely, and reliably across the enterprise.
The Senior Business Analyst combines strong business process expertise with integration analysis capabilities to support existing point-to-point integrations, middleware platforms, data transformations, and enterprise application connectivity. The individual will analyze business requirements, document integration specifications, support troubleshooting and testing efforts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to system integrations and data management.
This role operates with significant independence and serves as a subject matter expert for Workday integration processes, enterprise data flows, and cross-functional business operations. The position also plays a key role in supporting system implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, and digital transformation initiatives.

Position Details
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Analyze business operations and processes to identify opportunities for improved system integration, automation, and data quality.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Operations, IT Integration & Automation, and third-party vendors to identify, analyze, and document business and integration requirements.
- Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, process maps, data flow diagrams, and integration support documentation.
- Perform business process reviews, future-state process design, and GAP analysis to support enterprise technology initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical integration teams.
Support and maintain existing Workday integrations, including:
- Point-to-point integrations
- Middleware-based integrations
- API-based integrations
- File-based inbound and outbound interfaces
- Third-party vendor integrations
- Partner with integration developers and middleware administrators (IT Integration & Automation) to support integration design, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze integration failures and data exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Support data transformation, mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities across systems.
- Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in Workday release reviews to assess impact on existing integrations and downstream systems.
- Support interface inventory management, integration lifecycle management, and documentation standards.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Lead and coordinate WD integration testing activities, including:
- Unit testing
- System integration testing
- Regression testing
- User acceptance testing (UAT)
- Develop test plans, test cases, and reconciliation procedures.
- Validate integration results against business requirements and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate testing with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
Project Delivery & Process Improvement
- Participate in project delivery activities and lead integration-related workstreams for system implementations, acquisitions, and enterprise initiatives.
- Assist in developing and monitoring adoption metrics and project success measures.
- Create process maps, value stream maps, and integration process documentation to support ongoing optimization efforts.
- Recommend improvements to existing integration processes, support models, monitoring, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with vendors and consultants to support integration enhancements and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive responsibility in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Solutions Analyst, HRIS Analyst, Integration Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience supporting enterprise system integrations and business application ecosystems. Experience collaborating with vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional project teams preferred.
- Experience integrating Workday with Payroll, Benefits, Identity Management, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Learning, Finance, and reporting platforms. Hands-on experience with Workday integrations, including EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, Studio, and Cloud Connect.
- Experience supporting middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Informatica, Workato, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting acquisition-related data migrations and system consolidations.
- Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and integration governance practices.
- Strong technical verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong oral, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to connect business challenges to technology solutions.
- Strong knowledge of business process mapping across multiple functional areas.
- Solid understanding of enterprise process architecture and cross-functional business operations.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Strong understanding of organizational readiness and change management concepts.
- Experience supporting Workday integrations and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of integration architecture and data flow concepts.
- Experience supporting middleware platforms and enterprise integration technologies.

- Understanding of enterprise data governance and master data management concepts.

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington/Maryland/Virginia/DC) this ranges from $83,000.00 - $142,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
