    Position Overview

    Diverse Agile Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the Federal Reserve Board's Division of Consumer and Community Affairs (DCCA) as part of its newly established Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab.

    The AI Lab is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen analytical capabilities, and advance the Board's consumer protection and community development mission.

    This position is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who excels at gathering requirements, leading Agile initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, supporting quality assurance activities, and ensuring compliance with federal governance standards. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the AI Lab Director while helping guide AI initiatives from concept through deployment.

    What You'll Do

    Business Analysis & Requirements Management

    • Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
    • Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for AI-enabled automation.
    • Create workflow diagrams, process documentation, use cases, and functional documentation.
    • Evaluate business priorities, risks, and solution alternatives.

    Agile Project Leadership

    • Facilitate Scrum and Kanban ceremonies including:
      • Sprint Planning
      • Daily Standups
      • Sprint Reviews
      • Retrospectives
      • Backlog Grooming
    • Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and dependencies.
    • Maintain project roadmaps and communicate status to leadership.
    • Break large initiatives into epics, features, and user stories.
    • Mentor project teams on Agile best practices.

    Quality Assurance & Testing

    • Develop functional and system test cases.
    • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
    • Support regression, integration, performance, and system testing.
    • Track defects through resolution.
    • Validate deployed AI solutions against business requirements.
    • Coordinate deployment readiness activities.

    AI Governance & Compliance

    • Support FISMA, FedRAMP, ATO, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and other federal compliance requirements.
    • Coordinate security and privacy reviews.
    • Maintain governance documentation.
    • Support data governance and records management initiatives.
    • Help establish responsible AI governance policies.

    Documentation & Executive Communications

    • Produce:
      • Technical specifications
      • Process documentation
      • User guides
      • Workflow diagrams
      • Test plans
      • Executive briefings
      • Presentation materials
    • Communicate effectively with executives, economists, attorneys, engineers, and data scientists.
    • Present project status and recommendations to leadership.

    Required Qualifications

    • U.S. Citizen
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline
    • 10+ years of Business Analysis, Project Management, or related experience
    • Strong Agile experience (Scrum and/or Kanban)
    • Expertise gathering business requirements and writing user stories
    • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies
    • Strong SDLC knowledge
    • Experience managing multiple stakeholders
    • Knowledge of:
      • FISMA
      • FedRAMP
      • Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
      • Authority to Operate (ATO)
    • Experience producing technical and compliance documentation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
