Senior Business Analyst

DataHouse is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making. This role collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and provide insights to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work with data to support business outcomes. The scope, complexity, and level of ownership for this role will vary based on level.

Important Location Requirement

This position requires regular in-person work at our Honolulu, Hawaii office. It is not eligible for remote work. Candidates must be able to begin working in person in Honolulu by the established start date. The Company does not provide relocation assistance or reimbursement.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support solution design and implementation
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making
  • Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
  • Contribute to and/or support business analysis initiatives and projects, depending on level

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct research and analysis to support business initiatives and strategic decisions
  • Develop business cases and support feasibility analysis for new initiatives
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to support system implementations
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report findings to stakeholders
  • Document workflows, use cases, and process models
  • Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication
  • Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of new processes or systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Level & Compensation

  • Level: Senior
  • Years of Experience (Guideline): 6-9 years
  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000

This position may be eligible for a discretionary annual accountability bonus based on individual and company performance.

The salary range represents the expected base pay for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.

Level Expectations:

  • Leads complex business analysis initiatives and stakeholder engagement
  • Provides strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Oversees requirements definition and ensures alignment with business goals
  • Mentors junior analysts and contributes to best practices and standards
