We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to act as a subject matter expert within Business and Data Analysis.
You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
• Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation and testing
• Assist with documenting functional and technical requirements and create specifications
• Utilize different software development methodologies, processes, techniques and quality planning methods in all phases of work
• Participate in application and user acceptance testing
• Facilitate effective communication between customers and technical team by translating operational language into technical terminology
Requirements
• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Management Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Business Management, or closely related discipline; plus 1 year of employment experience in the job offered (Senior Business Analyst), Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, Product Owner, Process Analyst, Functional Analyst, Software Maintenance Engineer, Requirements Engineer, Project Manager, Product Manager, Software Testing Engineer, QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or closely related occupation
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• At least one of the following software development methodologies: RUP, Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban
• At least one of the following BA techniques/tools: SWOT analysis, requirement analysis, use case modeling, BPM, or mind mapping
• Modeling and analyzing business processes using at least one of the following modeling languages: UML or BPMN
